- 10Payments are handled securely, typically by credit card. Because TripMatters acts as your booking agent, supplier payment schedules and deadlines apply. Your Maven advisor will walk you through timing and expectations for every payment.
- 11Yes. You earn loyalty points on eligible bookings just like direct booking — and often enjoy added value layered on top.
- 12All cancellations and refunds are governed by the supplier’s own terms and conditions (airline, hotel, cruise line, tour operator). Those policies determine deadlines, fees, and refundability — and TripMatters passes those terms through to you as your booking agent. We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your trip and your investment, because supplier rules vary and may not provide reimbursement in every scenario.
- 13Maven advisors remain available to support you throughout your travels. If disruptions arise — such as delays, cancellations, or itinerary changes — we assist with coordination and advocacy based on the supplier’s policies and availability. Because many supplier rules are strict and not refundable, travel insurance is strongly recommended to help cover unexpected events like interruptions, medical needs, or delays.
